Nico Buytendijk

Nico Buytendijk is programmanager at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency who works on the realisation of the Sustainable Blue Economy in the Netherlands, of which Multi-Use of space at sea is an important part.

He set up the North Sea Community of Practice the eMSP NBSR project together with the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Watermanagement. These networks consists of (national) governments, research institutions, NGOs and entrepreneurs. The goals of these networks are realizing a sustainable blue economy and future proof MSP’s together with partners. He is Coordinator of the eMSP NBSR project, which is about MSP across two seabasins. Furthermore he works on the concept of a Maripark, a nature inclusive maritime businessarea.
