MATE (Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences), one of the largest agricultural-focused, multi- disciplinary higher education institutions in Europe was established on 1 February 2021.
Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences - MATE has 20 institutes, which carry out core activities in education, research, arts and innovation across campuses. MATE's research portfolio focuses on agricultural, engineering and food sciences, viticulture and oenology, horticulture, environmental and renewable energy management, aquaculture and environmental safety, genetics, plant breeding and protection, animal husbandry and wildlife management, landscape architecture, rural development and water management.
