About

Unseenlabs provides a geolocation data service with a characterization of maritime emitters worldwide. This service is operational and covers all the Earth’s oceans. A satellite pass over a planned reference point covers large sea areas. With 8 satellites the current revisit time on a zone is around 6 hours (3 hours in 2023 and less than 1 hour in 2025). The geolocation accuracy is close to the nautical mile (2 km). Unseenlabs’ satellite constellation detects radio frequency signals emitted by vessels navigating in vast areas of interest. We then collect, process and deliver data and analytics to our customers with an unprecedented detection rate, bringing a new layer of data to maritime domain awareness. Unseenlabs gives access to lightweight and actionable data, processed to meet your objectives and expectations. Unseenlabs’ product is delivered through standard format reports and/or files, and provides the following for every on-board emitter: o Geolocation coordinates o Technical parameters The customers select their area(s) of interest, number of daily RF data acquisition and engagement plan. Unseenlabs delivers: o Data files with geolocated vessels and emitter’s technical parameters. o Data enhanced with their own or partner’s data. o Reports with analytics (patterns of life, vessels of interest, etc.). Today, Unseenlabs’ space-based RF detection technology has proven its key benefits for maritime stakeholders: o Detection of radio frequency signals emitted by ships at sea, even if uncooperative. o List of unique and unrefutable RF emitters’ fingerprints. o Exclusive technology using monosatellites for high accuracy and flexibility. o High performance levels anywhere around the globe, regardless of the time of day and weather conditions. o Vast area coverage with unprecedented and unmatched detection rate. o Customers without RF expertise can process our lightweight and easily interpretable data. o RF data fusion with other sources (Tip and Cue). An efficient service dedicated to maritime stakeholders for: o RF data acquisition campaigns over vast areas of interest. o RF data fusion with AIS to complete situational analysis. o Detection of potential dark vessels and/or unusual patterns of life. o Optional customer/partner orders for other surveillance sensors (Tip & Cue) or data sources. o Full analysis, tactical & strategic reports, and decision-making process.
