Becoming a success as a maritime start up is a huge challenge. To support entrepreneurs, a Danish project called Maritime Stars has created a special concept – an accelerator program for Denmark's best maritime startups, where selected companies within e.g. green conversion, digitalisation, automation and optimization pitch their business idea to well established lighthouse companies with reliable production equipment, supplier and value chains and international distribution channels. The best-rated start-ups are then offered a tailored accelerator course with a focus on legislation and technology as well as 1:1 consultations with lighthouse companies, funding sources, advisory boards and focus groups.
