The pitch would focus on the role of start-ups and founder talent in solving complex challenges in the maritime industry. It will focus on approaches that’s common in EU such as accelerators, incubators and then focus on venture studios. A comparison of the pro’s and con’s of each model will be described and we will focus on what the audience thinks are the challenges when it comes to being a start-up / working with a start-up. We will share some examples of new start-ups in EU that are tackling problems in the de-carb, talent and AI space see and why the large organisations are not capable of addressing these challenges themselves.
