Kenya Water Institute
The Kenya Water Institute (KEWI), a state corporation under the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation, was established by the Kenya Water Institute Act No.11 of 2001. KEWI's mandate includes promoting service standards in the water sector through human resource development, research, consultancy, and outreach services. The Act also tasks KEWI with facilitating collaboration between the public and private sectors and other stakeholders for the advancement of the water and sanitation sectors.
