About

As a deep-tech field robotics company, we bring proprietary expertise in autonomous mission development for UAV/UAS platforms, operating seamlessly in indoor and outdoor environments, including GPS/GNSS-denied non-permissive conditions. Our technology stack integrates advanced SLAM, AI-based perception, and adaptive navigation tailored for defence-grade applications.

Building upon our involvement in previous Horizon proposals, we aim to contribute to innovative projects focused on robotics, autonomous systems, situational awareness, and dual-use technologies.

**We are eager to connect with partners who share a vision for next-generation autonomous capabilities in robotics.

UAS Autonomous Navigation:**

  • Autonomous perception and navigation of both quadropters and fixed-wing AUS.

  • Obstacle avoidance capabilities.

  • 3D digital mapping of assets.

  • Optimal path navigation.

  • Outdoor and indoor (GPS/GNSS-denied) environments.

Computer Vision & Artificial Intelligence:

  • Detection and segmentation of specific materials and objects in unknown environments.

  • AI models trained with real-world and synthetic data.

  • Semantic segmentation of objects of interest and defects.

  • 3D segmentation on both semantic and instance.

  • Object tracking and counting (model agnostic).

  • Semantic and instance segmentation of point clouds.

Potential Involvement & Value Proposition

  • Infrastructure Assessments: VERTLINER's solution can conduct a comprehensive aerial survey of assets and surroundings. The autonomous aerial robot generates a detailed 3D digital model, providing valuable insights into the current condition of the building, existing materials, and the surrounding environment.

  • Material Identification & Inventory Management: Using its computer vision and AI capabilities, the autonomous aerial robot monitors the interior and exterior to identify and segment specific objects. Moreover, it can detect materials, structural elements, fixtures, and fittings.

  • Defect Detection & Assessment: VERTLINER's AI model can perform semantic segmentation of defects, such as cracks, rusts, or other structural issues.

  • Real-time Monitoring & Management: VERTLINER integrates seamlessly with the site's monitoring systems, including sensors and IoT devices. This enables real-time monitoring of the asset's performance metrics. Any deviations from optimal performance trigger automated alerts, allowing for proactive activities and optimisation.

  • High Degree of Customisation: The entire technology stack and the modules have been and are being developed in-house, so the company sustains a wide range of capabilities to customise its solutions for specific application use cases, environments, and scenarios.
