Volumetric videoconferencing
Knowledge and Technology Marketing Director at i2CAT The Internet Research Centre
Barcelona, Spain
About
We've developed an end-to-end solution to capture a person in 3D (volumetric capture), encode, compress and render it into an AR/VR experience with low-end resources (cameras, bandwidth and computation). And moreover, we support up to 12 people in the same application, a figure that no one has achieved so far.
That technology will enable lots of use cases: enrich remote health, improve in-store experiences, new ways to showcase cultural heritage, gaming and entertainment.
We've just created a spin-off company to market it. So, discuss with me use cases for this 3D evolution of videoconferencing at the ISE and find ways for you to do business.
