La Masia Studios provides a 360º sound and music service for production companies, digital platforms and film directors, from sound on set to original soundtracks and surround and/or atmos final mixes. Located in a traditional mediterranean house in the natural reserve of Collserola, in the Barcelona city outskirts, La Masia Studios is run by an outstanding team of music composers, music producers, sound designers and sound engineers ready to cover all the sonic aspects of a film production.
Our mission is to help creators and directors express the unique universe of their projects while streamlining sonic and creative musical processes. By avoiding duplications between sonic and creative musical processes, shortening delivery timelines, and providing a better understanding of the different stages of soundtrack production, we aim to enhance both efficiency and artistic cohesion.
Our team’s collaborative approach, versatile skills, and extensive experience have delivered outstanding results for a diverse range of prominent national and international clients. Led by composers Javier Bayon and Georgina L. Wolkowicz, we have collaborated with renowned production companies such as HBO, Lucasfilm, Netflix, and RTVE, among others. Our work has received several awards including "Best Score" at Los Angeles Film Awards and "Best International Film Music" at Sitges and Zurich Film Festivals.
