Allen is no stranger to the world of taste. With a frivolous journey that began as a wine buyer, Allen's career took him through established and esteemed names like Cadbury and Scottish & Newcastle Brewery, to being an entrepreneur alongside his business partner. His experience in Wine honed his ability to comprehend and experience subtleties in taste which led him on a journey to explore further and seek new opportunities in the coffee world. Hailing from a rich Irish heritage, Allen's roots trace back to the landscapes of Munster. Raised by parents who were born and bred in this region, Allen inherited not only a strong work ethic but also an innate appreciation for the culture of his heritage, which was strong enough to make the move from his roots in West London, where he was born and bred, to Belfast.
