Soybean meal represents two-thirds of the total world output of protein feed-stuffs with USA, Brazil & Argentina being accountable for more than 80% of the global production. Along with European economic concerns, increased global soy production raises environmental worldwide issues such as agro-chemical residues, deforestation, impact on water quality and quantity, greenhouse gas emissions as well as social impact. Dapibuset leverages on advanced technologies to create a soybean meal alternative that is directly produced at the farm by the farmer. Its robust tech solves the complexity of finding a sustainable feed-stuff which besides providing protein and amino acids does not compromise growth performance, local availability and cost effectiveness for the farmers.

About me

Our journey at Dapibuset began with a simple question that kept me up at night: How can we sustainably provide protein to meet the needs of a growing world? My co-founder and I spent countless evenings brainstorming, researching, and experimenting with alternative proteins for human consumption, driven by a shared vision of creating a better future.

It wasn’t long before we encountered a significant challenge: the feed industry. We saw that existing protein sources had a massive environmental impact, and Europe’s reliance on imports only exacerbated the problem. It became clear that the system wasn’t working and needed to change.

That’s when we made a bold decision—not just to focus on feeding people but to re-imagine how animals are fed. It was a tough call, but we moved forward with determination, collaboration, and a strong belief that we could make a meaningful difference.

Every step of this journey continues to teach me about resilience, innovation, and the incredible power of partnerships. More than anything, it reaffirms that even the boldest dreams can take root and grow into meaningful change.
