About

During periods of reduced energy consumption, ice is produced in freezers in the form of icicles, pipes or rods. Ice can be used to maintain temperatures in the range of 3-10 degrees C in various cooling systems. For example, to preserve food (autonomous field kitchens), medicines (mobile hospitals), in various technological processes (milk obtained on dairy farms must be cooled for 2-3 hours after milking the cows to maintain its quality; in beer production, it must be kept cool for more than 10 days). These cooling technologies require the use of refrigeration units of a certain capacity, which can be significantly reduced by accumulating ice produced during the period of cheap electricity on the energy market.
