About
Description
There is currently a boom in urban mobility, driven by new electric motors, which has led to the appearance on the market of numerous one-person transport devices. Despite the foregoing, most domestic shopping carts continue to be driven by the effort of the wearer of the same and, in the case of incorporating mechanical traction means, these do not usually facilitate the rotation or transport of the person. The present invention consists of a folding motorised domestic shopping trolley, equipped with a retractable platform, to facilitate going to and from the supermarket. It can be driven on the platform, like a scooter, or in the traditional way. It consists of two modules, the bag module as a standard trolley, and the scooter module with all the electronics and motor, which allows it to be left charging at home if it is not going to be used. The folding system makes it easy to store at home, and the turning assistance allows for great manoeuvrability and versatility.
Advantages
This invention differs from others in: -The modular nature, which allows it to be used in a traditional or motorised way. -The steering handlebar, which makes it easier to turn when carrying weight. -The possibility of choosing between several driving modes. -The assistance in climbing steps thanks to the arrangement of the wheels.
Uses and Applications
The invention is aimed at personal mobility, especially for elderly people or those with slight problems when moving around carrying weight. It allows shopping and small transports to be carried out in a more comfortable and simple way.
