Cooperative for the Common Good (Genossenschaft für Gemeinwohl)
About
The Cooperative for the Common Good (Genossenschaft für Gemeinwohl) is committed to transforming the money and financial system. Through political interventions, critical education programs, and redirecting funds from the financial sector into a real economy that fosters the common good, the cooperative unites nearly 4,000 people across German-speaking regions with the shared goal of aligning our money and financial system with the common good.
In recent years, we successfully redirected over 20 million euros into projects that promote the common good, thanks to crowdfunding initiatives and Austria’s first Common Good Account. Each year, approximately 1,500 people participate in the educational programs offered by our academy.
In the coming years, we aim to engage more and more young people — including those from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds — to join us in advocating for a transformation of the money and financial system. To achieve this goal, we require support in transforming our organization.
