About me
My organisation
ArcelorMittal Long Products Luxembourg is a leading producer of long steel products, including beams, steel sections, and rails, which are critical components in global construction and infrastructure. As part of the ArcelorMittal group, a world leader in steel and mining, the Luxembourg plants are at the forefront of the company's strategic commitment to sustainability and decarbonization. Central to these efforts is the implementation of Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) technology, which enables the efficient recycling of scrap steel while significantly reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions compared to traditional blast furnaces. By leveraging EAFs, developing energy recovery and renewable energy sources, ArcelorMittal Long Products Luxembourg is making substantial progress towards the group's ambitious goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. The division’s focus on integrating advanced green technologies underscores its dedication to leading the steel industry’s transition to a more sustainable and environmentally responsible future.
