About
Experilabs can take a role in this program as a technology provider fundamentally, and it can address the different needs coming from several destinations under the program.
Firstly, Experilabs has the capability to secure digital technologies that support the protection of data and networks while respecting privacy and other fundamental rights. This is enabled by the relevant data-related projects it carries out and the firm’s capabilities from the distributed information technology models.
For instance, the company is providing “Data Collection and Big Data Analytical Platform” under the project funded by TÜBİTAK. The Data Collection and Big Data Analytical Platform is designed to meet data-driven needs. It provides secure storage, quickly access, and correctly processes high-volume and structural or unstructured data stacks from different data sources. It will detect and eliminate data loss and data inconsistency with data validation and control modules. Also, it will present the encryption of data in motion (dynamic) and at rest (static). Moreover, research will be conducted on data anonymization and differential privacy methods with the academicians from Sabancı University.
In addition, customer projects can be given as other examples. As part of one of them, all activities of active users on one of Turkey's and Europe's largest event management platforms (approximately 6.4 million users) are actively consolidated. Data security and quality are ensured by considering data standards. More than six hundred fifty active external stakeholders conduct real-time user-based analyses and analytics through the data management platform. Besides that, as part of the digital transformation of one of Turkey’s largest banks, Experilabs is supporting them in fraud detection and anonymizing all users’ activities by considering the bank security policies.
From the point of the distributed information technology models, Experilabs has blockchain-based R&D projects with an eye on its technology, integration, and security. The firm’s team comprises experienced research members who mainly focus on exploring new blockchain technologies, analyzing existing systems, and evaluating new applications that can be integrated with the blockchain network. Thus, it can participate in this program by coordinating the blockchain as part of the overall proposed digital solution, and Experilabs can satisfy the needs related to security and privacy.
For instance, “Destination – Effective Management of EU External Borders” requires improved customs and supply chain security through better prevention, detection, deterrence, and fight against illegal activities involving flows of goods across border crossing points. At that point, Experilabs had a project called ‘Safe Supply Chain (SSChain)’. It is a blockchain-based system for use in the supply chain. By courtesy of blockchain technology, the platform provides a decrease in structural and human-induced errors in product, information, and money flow, sustainable traceability and transparency, and a secure structure with strict standards and regulations.
Furthermore, Experilabs has a track record in security-related international projects. For instance, it played a pivotal role in cross-validating multi-technology biometrics-on-the-move person identification for EU borders, showcasing its expertise in system integration, identity management, blockchain, and AI solutions.
Besides all these, Experilabs has extensive experience in software development (i.e., both backend and frontend) on several counts, system integration, data-related activities like data acquisition (from many sources such as IoT, ERP, CRM, and others, and in many architectures like edge computing and so on), data analytics and interpretation and data visualization, development, application, and integration of AI models. Besides, Experilabs can make a significant contribution to other shareholders on the side of DevOps, project, and process management within the perspective of CobiT and ITIL, exploitation, and dissemination.
Experilabs R&D staff consists of graduate and doctorate employees. Also, the company has fruitful collaborations with the best universities in Turkey, other R&D centers, many industrial partners, and non-governmental organizations. The current trends that will form the basis of R&D roadmaps for all products EXPERILABS will focus on and develop are as follows:
