About

As an expert working at the Disaster Management Institute at Istanbul Technical University, I have not onlya significant background in decision-making mechanisms reinforced by artificial intelligence but also several scientific publications.

It is therefore I am interested in participating in a project for the "HORIZON-CL3-2024-DRS-01-03: Harmonised / Standard protocols for the implementation of alert and impact forecasting systems as well as transnational emergency management in the areas of high-impact weather / climatic and geological disasters'".

Disaster management has become a significant focal point today, given the increasing impact of natural disasters. Therefore, innovative technologies like artificial intelligence need to play a critical role in coping with disasters and enhancing the resilience of communities. Decision-making mechanisms supported by artificial intelligence are crucial in pre-disaster preparedness, disaster response, and post-disaster recovery processes. These mechanisms can be effectively utilized in areas such as data analysis, risk assessment, and emergency planning. Additionally, artificial intelligence technologies can provide rapid and precise solutions for pre-disaster risk identification and post-disaster community recovery. I believe that I can contribute to international projects aimed at developing advanced tools regarding the prediction of climatic and geologic disaster components using my expertise in this field.
