HORIZON-CL3-2024-BM-01-05: Detection and tracking of illegal and trafficked goods
Researcher/Head of Electrochemistry Laboratory at TUBITAK National Metrology Institute (TUBITAK UME)

About
Electrochemical sensors can be produced for the determination of illegal chemicals for customs security and facilitating trade. Mini-sized potentiostat/galvanostat instrument compatible with these sensors can be produced. For this purpose, we produced such a device and computer compatible software during the COVID-19 pandemic period. In addition, sensors specific to the specific proteins of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen and/or antibody that causes COVID-19 were also produced that were compatible with this device. Besides, many different electrochemical sensors were produced by us for the determination of purpose-specific components (transition metals, semi-metals, organic beneficial or harmful compounds) in many different matrices.
