Acta is the network leader for France's 19 agricultural technical institutes, which carry out R&D for all agricultural animal and plant production (field crops, livestock, fruit and vegetables, vine and wine, specialised crops, organic farming, crops and livestock in overseas France). With its 2,400 employees, this network is a professional tool for applied research and technology transfer for farmers and the agricultural, agro-industrial and forestry sectors.

Acta est la tête de réseau des 19 instituts techniques agricoles français, qui mènent des actions de R&D pour l'ensemble des productions agricoles animales et végétales (grande culture, élevage, fruits et légumes, vigne-vin, cultures spécialisées, agriculture biologique, cultures et élevages d’Outre-mer). Forts de 2400 collaborateurs, ce réseau est l’outil professionnel de recherche appliquée et de transfert technologique vers les agriculteurs et les filières agricoles, agro-industrielles et forestière.
