About

Food4Sustainability CoLAB (F4S) is a not-for-profit collaborative laboratory dedicated to innovation in sustainable food production and consumption. F4S tests and implements novel approaches to food production systems that positively impact soil and plant health, carbon sequestration, and efficiency in the food value chain. The 5 pillars of the F4S research agenda are circular economy, sustainable farming, natural capital, food, nutrition and wellbeing, and innovation and entrepreneurship. F4S creates and transfers knowledge focused on sustainable, regenerative, and circular agriculture in food production systems. F4S has a laboratory dedicated to soil microbiome analysis based on NGS DNA sequencing. F4S has a strong R&D team in the areas of microbiology, biotechnology, agronomy, data science, and soil sciences.
