A leader with extensive international experience, Damien Comolli brings a strong background enriched with technical, managerial, and strategic competencies, built over more than thirty years at the highest levels of European football. He has held key roles at prestigious clubs such as Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Fenerbahce, and, most recently, Toulouse, where he led the club to the promotion to Ligue 1 and the victory in the Coupe de France. In June 2025 he joined Juventus as responsible for the Men’s Football Area as well as the Marketing and Commercial Departments

Darcy Norman is a high-performance leader in professional soccer, specializing in player health, performance, and team culture. (FC Bayern, DFB, AS Roma, USMNT). With a background in physical therapy, strength and conditioning, sports science, and leadership, he integrates innovation with tradition to drive continual improvement across multidisciplinary teams in elite sport environments. Currently, he directs performance and player wellness at Chicago Fire FC.

Chris Markham Former Sporting Director

Chris is the former Sporting Director at Bolton Wanderers, where he drove a data-informed overhaul of recruitment, first team performance and academy structures. Previously at Huddersfield Town, he played a key role in their rise to the Premier League. At the FA, he led performance analysis and coaching projects, including a major review of penalty shootouts. Chris's work is known for combining strategic thinking with innovation, and he is a respected figure in football operations and performance planning.

Mariela Nisotaki joined Southampton FC and the Sport Republic Group in May 2025 as Head of Group Talent Acquisition, overseeing global scouting and the recruitment of top talent across the organization. Prior to this, she spent eight years at Norwich City FC, where she held key roles including Head of Emerging Talent and Assistant Head of Recruitment. Mariela played a pivotal role in shaping Norwich’s South American and Emerging Talent strategies, contributing to several successful signings.

Sven is a former endurance athlete (distance runner & triathlete. He has a university degree as a strength & conditioning coach and studied sport pedagogy/science, pedagogy and psychology (diploma earned from the University of Augsburg).Sven started coaching 25 years ago and in 2007 he started coaching professional teams getting into Ice Hockey with the Augsburg Panthers, 1st German division. Then in May 2019 he became Head of Performance of Mainz05.

Jack Nayler Head of Sports Science at Everton

Jack is currently Head of Sports Science at Everton FC. He has previously held this role at RB Leipzig, the Red Bull Athlete Performance centre and Celtic FC.
Jack’s background is as a sports scientist, working at clubs across Europe including PSG and Real Madrid.
Jack is currently interested in how high performance teams work together effectively and deal with the complexity inherent in the club environment.

Paul D. Balsom (Dr. med. sci.) is a UEFA Pro Licence coach, Head of UEFA’s Fitness Advisory Group, and Performance Advisor for Liga MX side Tigres UANL in Mexico.
For more than 35 years, Paul has worked in professional football at both club (internationally) and national team (Sweden) level, with a focus on leveraging physical preparation, development and fitness to achieve competitive advantage.
