About
The Digital Europe Program (DEP) is co-coordinated by the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency of Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Industry and Technology. The Digital Europe Programme, which is being implemented in the 2021-2027 financial period, has a budget of €8.1 billion and consists of 6 components: “Supercomputers”, “Artificial Intelligence”, “Cybersecurity and Trust”, “Advanced Digital Skills” and “Building, Optimizing and Interoperability of Digital Capacities” and “Semiconductors”.
The objective of the Programme;

Support and accelerate the digital transformation of the European economy, industry and society,

Ensure that EU citizens, public institutions and businesses benefit from digital transformation,

Ensuring EU competitiveness in the global digital economy,

Reducing the EU's external dependence on digital technology and infrastructures and ensuring its strategic autonomy,

To help reduce the digital divide within the Union.
Türkiye does not participate in the activities under the cyber security component due to security constraints. The evaluation process for Türkiye's participation in the activities under the Semiconductors component is currently ongoing.
