Artificial Intelligence in Health Application and Research Center

Artificial Intelligence Studies in Health Application and Research Center (SYZ) was established with the decision published in the official gazette dated November 2, 2020 and numbered 31292 with the aim of designing, analyzing and implementing the diagnosis and treatment-oriented systems needed by national and international organizations and researchers in the field of health.

As SYZ, our primary goal is to produce policies for the public good that aim to produce sustainable solutions with decision support systems and applications in regional, national and international diagnosis and treatment problems in the field of health.

Our center aims to transform the data obtained in the field of health into meaningful information for local, national and international decision makers with artificial intelligence methods. In addition, the establishment objectives of our center can be summarized as follows:

• To carry out joint studies with universities, public institutions and industrial organizations for artificial intelligence research in health, and to establish and operate the necessary application and research laboratories.

• To prepare the market to produce, commercialize and export new technologies, to develop pilot studies in this field and to ensure the production of prototypes of new ideas through multi-disciplinary studies.

• To communicate and cooperate with similar centers at national and international level and to organize courses, seminars, congresses and symposiums.

In the near future, many scientific activities are being planned under the leadership of our centers in order to achieve our national goals in this field, to act jointly and to provide a working environment:

• Conducting the II International Congress on Artificial Intelligence in Health online,

• The journal Artificial Intelligence Theory and Applications started to be published,

• Increasing collaborations with the International Association for Artificial Intelligence in Health,

• To organize mini workshops to increase the recognition of the center on a local and national scale and to bring together academics working in this field.
