In the 2023 Industry and Technology Strategy published in 2019, Bilişim Vadisi, which focuses on the goals of the National Technology Move (Milli Teknoloji Hamlesi), which is given as the name of the transformation of technology in Türkiye, is one of the most important stakeholders and representatives of the National Technology Move, as stated in the Techno Venture Strategy document published in 2022. As part of its goals to expand the ecosystem, Bilişim Vadisi conducts activities such as accelerators, incubation programs, entrepreneurial skills development programs, and strategic event activities to support tech/deep-tech entrepreneurs in particular. Bilişim Vadisi quickly recognizes the needs of technology companies and provides solutions with strong stakeholders such as the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB), various chambers of commerce, and industry and universities. BV is also home to Turkey's largest mobility project, TOGG, the Turkish Electric Vehicle Initiative. TOGG's headquarters and R&D office are located on our campus in Kocaeli. BV has determined six focus areas in line with its goals: Mobility, Connectivity Technologies, Smart City, Cyber Security, Gaming, and Design. It conducts activities to support technologies and entrepreneurs developed in these areas and to build and run ecosystems with high-capacity infrastructure.
Conducting Incubation Center Activities: The incubation center provides 24/7 support to pre-incubation and incubation entrepreneurs, sales follow-up management support, training, acceleration programs, financial and legal consultancy support, patent consultancy support, mentoring support, and open and closed workspaces with unlimited internet and electricity support.
Bilişim Vadisi Venture Capital Investment Fund Management: Founded in 2021 with the partnership of Vakıf Katılım and Albaraka and later with the partnership of KOSGEB, the venture capital investment fund has today reached a fund volume of almost ₺ 600 million. To date, more than 3,000 applications have been reviewed and investments have been made in almost 30 entrepreneurs. The fund's investment size is between $100,000 and $1,000,000.
Organizing Türkiye Mobility Cluster Accelerator Program: Türkiye Mobility Cluster program, which was applied as a legal entity in 2023 with a 5-year activity plan, has been continuing its activities under the initiative of Bilişim Vadisi since 2019. Established to support Türkiye's entrepreneurs who want to develop mobility technologies, the platform conducts the Mobility Acceleration Program every year. In the 3 acceleration programs completed to date, more than 2000 entrepreneurs have applied, more than 25 technology seminars, more than 60 mentor meetings, 500+ B2B meetings, 700+ demo-day event participation, more than 100 working group meetings, and national and international mobility industry meetings have been held. The cluster program has over 100 members, nearly 100 mentors, and approximately 80 investment offices.
Digiage Game Cluster Program: Digi Age (Digital Animation and Gaming Ecosystem), one of the largest cluster programs of Bilişim Vadisi within the scope of game development, which is one of the sectors that has enabled our country to be in a leading position in the world recently, dominates one of the largest ecosystems in the sector with its game development summer and winter camps held twice a year. In a total of 7 game development camps with over 35,000 physical and online participants, game developers and anyone interested in games have developed projects, met with investors, and obtained investments. Today, DIGIAGE A.Ş. was established as a spin-off company to lead the ecosystem and add investment support to its activities.
