Kırıkkale University

Kırıkkale University, established on July 3, 1992, initially comprised faculties of Science and Letters, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Engineering, and Veterinary Medicine, alongside institutes for Social, Natural, and Health Sciences, and a vocational school. Over the years, the university expanded significantly, adding new faculties, schools, and research centers, becoming one of the leading universities in its region.

Located on the Kırıkkale-Ankara highway, the university’s main campus houses most academic units, with additional vocational schools in nearby districts. It serves over 30,000 students through 12 faculties, 1 school, 6 vocational schools, 3 institutes, and 23 research and application centers.

Kırıkkale University emphasizes quality assurance, holding multiple certifications such as the TS EN ISO 9001 and TS ISO 10002 standards. It actively participates in accreditation and quality processes, achieving success in national and international evaluations. Notably, it is ranked in the 1501+ band in the Times Higher Education (THE) World Rankings and 39th among Turkish universities in the SCImago University Rankings 2024.

With a focus on sustainability and innovation, the university has improved its position in the GreenMetric World University Rankings, climbing to 848th in 2024. Its research and technological contributions are supported by the Kırıkkale Technology Development Zone and collaborations with prominent institutions like TÜBİTAK and the Defense Industry Presidency.
