Solar Optics

We started as a research company specialized in optics established 2018. Actually our study has begun long before with different name and we become an expert in optics in Korea.

We own technologies and patents that are related to optics. Our technology is to break and divide the light, and scatter the light distributing evenly with high brightness. We applied our technology on optical fiber and it is called O.S.L.

O.S.L. is short for Optical fiber Side Lighting. It is a new optical material made with the technology which is micro processing method on optical fiber. This technology is the most ideal way to express the light as line, and maxmize efficiency of existing LEDs and overcomes the limitation of them. Furthermore, it reduces number of LED use, power consumption, and maintenance as well.

O.S.L. has multiple functional roles in where the light is needed. It means that it can be applied to various ways in various industries; lighting industry, display industry, car industry(tail light, ambient light,etc), home appliance industry, furniture industry, landscape architecture, renewable energy industry, smart farm, and etc. One of advantages of using O.S.L. is to save energy and it can solve problems with heat as well. It helps to maximize the efficiency of LEDs so that it can reduce energy consumption and maintenance as well.

Unlike LED, it can emit light by selecting visible rays, ultraviolet rays, and infrared rays.  It has various advantages, such as not generating heat when emitting light and generating a minimum of blue light. The light emitting from O.S.L. has no problem with glare and you feel comfortable though it is bright while looking at it. Therefore it is human-friendly and also environmental friendly since its lifetime lasts almost forever.

This technology we expand up to renewable energy sector, which is solar energy. We have collaboration with an institute, KIMS (Korea Institute of Material Science) and we have made a great result. The result has been release on www.pv-magzine.com and www.eurekalert.org

We have 82 patents in domestic and overseas - U.S.A., Europe, Japan, and China. There are more pending in domestic and overseas.
