About me
Prof. Dr. Siegfried Meryn is Professor Emeritus at the Teaching Center of the Medical University of Vienna, specialist and professor of internal medicine and additional specialist in gastroenterology and hepatology, with an endoscopic focus. Ranked among the top 10 future shapers in the study "Austria's new power network - network of future shapers in Austria". Fourth place in the area of system civil society (social, economic and technology innovators) and ninth place in the area of economy and innovators; 2019/2020. Prof. Dr. Siegfried Meryn is the initiator of Health.DigitalCity.Wien, www.health.digitalcity.wien. Under the motto THINKING DIGITAL HEALTH FORWARD, a platform and knowledge network is being developed for the current trends and visions relating to future tech and digital transformation in the Austrian healthcare system. Prof. Dr. Siegfried Meryn is the initiator of CAPE 10 - the house of social innovations and the future www.cape10.at, a social lighthouse project with the aim of creating a "place of encounter and hope for everyone" in the heart of Vienna.
