About me

Maximilian Zangl is a Junior Program Manager for the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) since November 2022. Within the Unit Private Sector & Development he is responsible for Eastern Africa and the Western Balkans. The unit focusses and supports projects and programs with companies that sustainably create jobs, increase the quality of working conditions and develop the local market for people in countries of the Global South. Mr. Zangl previously held a position at the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was working with various other companies. He graduated as Mast er of Public Policy at the Central European University and completed his undergraduate studies in Vienna (Webster Vienna Private University).

Combating poverty, promoting peace and protecting the environment: These are the three major concerns of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), the operational unit of Austrian Development Cooperation. ADA currently funds projects and programmes with a total volume of more than 557 million euros to improve living conditions in developing countries.
