My name is Thomas Keil, an impact-driven digitalisation and technology enthusiast who loves to do analytical number crunching and engineering.
About
My name is Thomas Keil and I am the CTO and co-founder of EnergyTrack, a data-driven and innovative energy startup with the mission to making energy consumption more transparent, accessible and intuitive for SMEs.
My background is in applied mathematics and I have several years of experience in data science, in AI deep learning and in building digital infrastructure as a software/data engineer as well as in managing the overall product lifecycle as a product manager. I am also very active in the Austrian AI Deep Learning and Cloud services community.
My entrepreneurial journey has led me through building my first think tank in the financial industry, to the Austrian Startups community in which I have embarked with an amazing team on a journey of tackling the big problem of the susceptibility of many companies to high energy prices, consumption intransparency and the energy efficiency regulations set out by the EU.
My organisation
EnergyTrack provides small and medium-sized companies with actionable insights into their energy consumption. Using IoT and submetering technologies, the solution translates complex energy data into understandable metrics and proactive tips to increase energy efficiency. By combining user-friendly design and sophisticated as well as trustworthy artificial intelligence models, EnergyTrack is able to identify energy sources on a room and even appliance level in complex business environments, promoting behavioural change of users that lead to energy and cost savings in a scalable and sustainable way.
