My organisation
About me
David Brunmayr is agroecologist and co-founder of Organic Tools. He looks back to a lineage of peasants and grew up with fresh vegetables from the garden and juice from the fruit forest. Already as a child he was on a constant search for solutions to make tasks and workflows fun and effective. His studies of agroecology and system thinking brought him to the insight of the critical role of smallholders in food systems. David is socialized in the movement of food sovereignty and worked in projects and NGOs from activism, rural tourism to seed banks.
As co-founder of Organic Tools, he embarked on the path of entrepreneurship in 2018 and has a big drive to revolutionize daily workflows and to strengthen regenerative and diversified smallholder farming through appropriate technology - from Agroforestry to Market Gardening.
Privately, David loves to dive deep into inner work and to enjoy nature with his family.
My organisation
The start-up Organic Tools offers smart tools for small-scale, regenerative agriculture. Their versatile fruit and nut harvester OBSTRAUPE is successfully established with more than 1,500 agroforestry farmers. With the new electric tool carrier TRAKTRAK they are reinventing the walk behind tractor, revolutionizing vegetable production for successful and profitable small farms.
