Magdalena Zak

Magdalena is head of operations at Hobby Lobby, an organisation providing free leisure classes for kids and youths coming from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Before that she worked several years in the field of communications consultancy but switched career path when she decided to become a Teach for Austria Fellow 2019 and taught at a school in Vienna’s 10th district for three years. That is also where she came across Hobby Lobby and realized she wanted to be part of their mission to make leisure classes accessible for all kids.
