We are building a new Regenerative economy, together. We have to speed up a model of responsible leadership to accelerate the transition towards a new economy of shared, durable prosperity for the next generations to come. We, as a cooperative, are moving away from the short-term vision that only takes the interests of a limited number of stakeholders into account and is deaf to the call of future generations. About me

• 35+ year global focus on good Enterprises, Entrepreneurs and Economies as the drivers of human progress through 30+ ventures. Economist by training, Entrepreneur by vocation, 'Engineer' by practice and family history. Experience in and across business, civil society, philanthropy, public sector, academia. Civic (Citizens, 'Oikos') is my purpose, entrepreneurship my means.

• Began as owner-entrepreneur at age 23 in family firm (Marton Diagnostics, UK; deneb laboratori chimici, Italy, producing Diagnostic Equipment for Water & Soil), which I expanded globally & helped to sell, one of the 1st such firms in Europe, '81-'93.

• Founder, Progressio Foundation, 300+ projects in 33 countries, involving 50,000 leaders, continuing its work to date. Founded it with Dr P Kloppenborg, '89, Rotterdam. Co-founder of Progressio Consultancy Ltd, UK '89, Progressio Botswana '90.

• Economist (BSc, MSc), strategist (MBA): Buckingham, LSE, LBS, Erasmus, MIT, Oxford Säid, '13 Harvard ALI Fellow, '14 MIT Visiting Scholar, '15 Stanford DCI Fellow. '84 MSc Thesis on SMEs in Europe and '87 MBA Project on Strategic Philanthropy (The Economist Prize), were years ahead of the mainstream.
