My organisation

Reducing poverty, promoting peace, and protecting the environment – these are our three main goals. We work with our partners to ensure that sustainable development benefits everyone in Africa, Asia, and Southeast and Eastern Europe. With eleven international offices, we are directly present in our partner countries. Our team focuses on the development goals of each country, the needs of the local population, and the optimal use of resources.

About me

Maximilian Zangl is a Junior Program Manager for the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) since November 2022. Within the Unit Private Sector & Development he is responsible for Eastern Africa and the Western Balkans. The unit focusses and supports projects and programs with companies that sustainably create jobs, increase the quality of working conditions and develop the local market for people in countries of the Global South. Mr. Zangl previously held a position at the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was working with various other companies. He graduated as Mast er of Public Policy at the Central European University and completed his undergraduate studies in Vienna (Webster Vienna Private University).
