Ovidiu Bujorean

Ovidiu Bujorean is a senior technical director specializing in partnerships and catalyzing investments in the West Africa region. Ovidiu works closely with our teams in Ghana with an eye toward maximizing synergies across ACDI/VOCA and its affiliates, AV Ventures and Tanager. Ovidiu also engages with AV Ventures’ impact investing vehicles: the Central Asia Impact Fund (CAIF) and the Impact for Northern Kenya (INK) Fund. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA in 2022, Ovidiu worked as a venture capital investor, partnering with the founder of Motorola Ventures, and later designed entrepreneurship programs, such as the Global Innovation through Science and Technology—now the flagship US Department of State program active in more than 120 countries. Ovidiu holds an MPA from Harvard University and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is fluent in English, French, and Romanian.
