Clust-ER Industrie Culturali e Creative

Clust-ER Create ("Associazione Clust-ER Industrie Culturali e Creative") is the CCI cluster organisation of the Emilia-Romagna region with 138 members: large companies, SMEs, research laboratories, innovation centres, training institutions, foundations, cultural associations and other organisations focused on Fashion (as the most industrialized regional sector) and cultural&creative industries in general. Clust-ER CREATE was established by the Emilia-Romagna Council, with the goal of multiplying opportunities for innovation through collaborative approaches and R&D activities.

Thanks to the mix of competencies and actors within its ecosystem it has gathered a huge experience in design-driven innovation and hybridization mainly focused on sustainability, social inclusion and societal transformation.

The main purpose is to strengthen the regional production system by focusing on the integration of technology, creativity and culture, creating synergies and alliances with networks and other aggregations at national and European level, and identifying future scenarios and strategic themes for research, training and internationalisation.

Formally Clust-ER Create is a no-profit association, practically it is a community of public and private bodies (research centers, businesses, training bodies, public entities) that share ideas, skills, tools, and resources to support the competitiveness of the Emilia-Romagna system. Clust-ER Create was certified by ESCA in 2020 and it is one of the 9 ECCP best practices for the design and successful implementation of S3 (unique in CCI). Clust-ER Create is partner in 2 Horizon Europe projects (Impulse e Soilscape), it was partner in an Interreg project, it is a TEXTILE ETP member (The European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing) and also a CREATHRIV-EU member (network of clusters and business organisations supporting the Cultural and Creative industries).
