About me
Lela Potskhverashvili has been serving as the Deputy Director of the Resort Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia since 2022. Since 2016, she has headed the Department of International Relations and Analytics at MTA LLC and holds academic positions at New Anglia University in the UK and Ilia State University.
With over 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors, as well as in international organizations, she specializes in economics, tourism, international relations, and humanitarian law. She has contributed to state policy development through conventions, strategies, and action plans.
Since 2012, she has worked as a project manager and expert for the Eastern Partnership and Visegrad countries, focusing on economic sustainability, tourism, and social integration. A Fellow of the Fund for American Studies, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the International Visegrad Fund, she holds master’s degrees from Lancaster University and Tbilisi State University and is currently pursuing a PhD in International Relations.
