We at Meissl think that joyful moments in the outdoors are just as refreshing as travelling elsewhere to get out of your everyday routine. We love to work hard to create environments protecting people from wind and weather, so that they can meet, laugh, live, and enjoy outdoors — whatever the weather. Thus, is why we are so passionate about creating open air solutions and hold over 40 years of experience planning and designing large umbrellas, umbrella bars and wind wall solutions to all customized needs. Not only for individuals, but also hotels, hospitality and communal needs are flexible and versatile outdoor solutions increasingly important. They enhance terraces, open space, boulevards, walkways, and gardens and add value to these attractive meeting points by making them usable in all weathers.

Starting from our iconic umbrella bar exiting of a large umbrella with a bar, we have continuously developed and extended our range with relevant products and solutions to a broad palette meeting all needs from smaller standard sized umbrellas to customized umbrella and wind wall solutions covering large spaces. Every solution is thus conceptualized individually — from planning to assemblage and hence servicing — to meet the specific needs of every client and project. However difficult or demanding the weather exposure on site might be — We at Meissl are known to always find a functional and satisfying solution.

Meissl embodies what is known as a passionate family enterprise. Founded in 1967 we are now in the second generation and work with a team of around 50 employees on 8.500 square meter of company space. We aim for the highest possible quality standards in our 100% Austrian value chain in terms of raw material, production and accessories and build our core values around the family spirit. We thus operate based on solidarity, honesty, transparency, and joy in creating together.
