DORI - Underwater acoustic recorder
About
Abyssens offers a line DORI of underwater acoustic recorders with more than 110 dB of dynamic range, listening up to 200 kHz and with a maximum storage capacity up to 16 TB. They are made for deployments at sea from two weeks to six months of continuous recording in coastal environment or deep sea on request. They are equipped with an HTI96 MIN Low noise or HTI 99 UHF and an optional external temperature sensor.
Two frequency ranges are available and offer you a complete listening range of the underwater soundscape. In fact, they allow you to listen many types of acoustic sources such as biological sounds from snapping shrimps to the vocalizes of marine mammals, as well as human sounds from ship radiated noises to offshore works. Thanks to a self noise below sea state zero and a high dynamic range, ambient noise can be monitored together with high level sources.
