Dalibor Marijanović

Dalibor Marijanović is passionate advocate of innovation ecosystem and investor in early stage startup community. More then 5 years he was general manager of the Croatian innovation agency (BICRO) building human capacity, creating processes and structure that has invested more then 30 MEUR in R&D&I, attracting additional 20 MEUR form other sources. He has been actively involved in preparation of strategic documents regarding the usage of EU Structural Funds responsible for creation and implementation of Technology and Innovation Strategy and Programs. He is regional innovation expert, who have helped neighboring countries setting policies that encourages and support innovation.

Prior to taking executive position he was director of collaborative R&D grant scheme in BICRO since 2005.  Before work within BICRO, he was designing, developing and implementing IT solutions for 7 years in public and private, big and small companies. Last position that he holds is partner at Vesna Deep Tech VC fund.
