Nicolas Aznar is a CNRS researcher in cancer and cell biology. He received his PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Cancer from the University of Lyon and completed his first postdoctoral training in Cell Signaling and Cancer at the University of California, San Diego, Department of Medicine. In 2017, he joined the Cancer Research Center of Lyon for his second postdoc to study cancer cell plasticity and secured a permanent research position in 2019. Currently, his research group focuses on using organoid technology to study the impact of the microenvironment on stem cells and cancer stem cells, with a particular emphasis on regenerative medicine, therapy resistance in cancer, and personalized medicine.
