Pharmabiotic Research Institute
Détails
The Pharmabiotic Research Institute (PRI) is Europe’s leading center in microbiome regulatory science. “Microbiome regulatory science” refers to the study and development of regulatory frameworks, standards, and guidelines for products, therapies, and interventions that involve or affect the microbiome. Established in 2010 as a non-profit organization, the PRI supports the development of microbiome-based innovations by clarifying the regulatory and scientific requirements needed to access the European market. Its mission is to foster dialogue among researchers, product developers, regulators, and policymakers, positioning itself as the central network driving innovation in microbiome science. Today, the PRI includes over 80 members from both academia and industry, representing nearly every stage of the microbiome product development chain. Through its unique, collaborative “Share & Learn” approach, the PRI addresses the complex regulatory challenges faced by stakeholders, helping to support and de-risk product development—for the ultimate benefit of citizens and patients.
