HORIZON-CL4-INDUSTRY-2025-01-DIGITAL-61: AI Foundation models in science
Professor of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Sheffield
Sheffield, United Kingdom
About
Through our materials performance and optimisation research we have recognised the potential for development and application of foundation AI models in the materials science domain. We are experts in the performance of steels and composites, with a particular focus on railway applications, and damage modelling. For example, understanding the origin of fatigue cracking failures and developing materials resistant to this. We are seeking partners with the computing expertise in foundation AI models to develop a project for the call HORIZON-CL4-INDUSTRY-2025-01-DIGITAL-61: AI Foundation models in science.
