About me
Dima Mnayer, is an Associate Professor. She received her Ph.D in 2014 in Food Chemistry from Avignon University in France. She earned a postgraduate diploma (DEA) in 2004 from the “Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie” in Food Quality control and Management and her Diploma in Agricultural Engineering in 2003 from Saint Joseph University, Lebanon. She is a professional member of the Lebanese Order of Engineers. She spent four-years (2003-2007) working as a program assistant with Italian NGOs in Rural Development Programs. In 2007, she moved into the academic sector where she started teaching at several universities. Since 2015, she served as a reviewer for different scientific journals. She has 11 Scopus peer-reviewed papers and 2 conference proceedings. She attended many international trainings abroad, in France, Spain, China and Jordan. According to Scientific Index 2024, Dr. Mnayer ranked one of top 1000 scientists in Lebanon. She has many certifications of achievements such Lead auditor training course in food safety, flipped classroom in addition to entrepreneurships training programs. Along with her teaching career, she is collaborating with Food Industries on developing novel food, benefiting from grants for supporting her research. She is a Coowner of DailyDough company, a startup busineess for production of gluten free breads and wraps
