Gitte Schober is a seasoned expert in entrepreneurship, innovation support, and impact startups, with over 25 years of experience at Wageningen University & Research (WUR) and beyond. As Coordinator of the Entrepreneurship @WUR team, she leads initiatives that foster entrepreneurial education, incubation, and ecosystem development. She also spearheads the WUR Impact Catalyst (WIC) programme, helping deep-tech startups and researchers turn innovations into scalable, real-world solutions.
Previously, Gitte played a pivotal role in StartLife, supporting over 120 agrifood startups, and contributed to international startup expansion through soft-landing programs in the US and Canada. With a background in technology transfer, sustainable innovation management, and business development, she connects startups with investors, industry experts, and researchers to drive impactful innovation. Passionate about bridging science and entrepreneurship, she empowers changemakers to create sustainable ventures that shape the future.
