About
Red Nought’s “Infinity Engine” reduces the cost of game development by 90%.
Unlike competitors, the Infinity Engine is a holistic platform which integrates highly interwoven modules using a radically innovative messaging system that allows communication without bottlenecks or complex custom coding.
The Infinity Engine therefore allows developers to focus on high value elements; the core story or characters rather than development of the same low-level components required by all games.
Developed 100% in house by a small team of technology platform experts with Innovate UK grant funding, the Infinity Engine makes it affordable for start-up studios to exploit the fast growing games market, projected to be over $650 billion by 2029. A market which is bigger than both the film and music industry combined.
Red Nought’s first game "The Time Plague" built using the Infinity Engine prototype engine is due to be launched on October 14th 2024. Development of the production engine is underway, with a public beta program launch in Q2 2025.
Through a subscription model, Red Nought has an ambition to empower at least 500 start-up studios over the next 3 years to create new and unique games in a matter of months rather than years.
Red Nought is seeking £250K investment to complete the development of the production version of the engine and commence commercialisation with a public launch in Q3 2025.
