MATCHER Data-Driven Innovation 2024

MATCHER is the International Open Innovation program based in Emilia-Romagna region, that aims at supporting companies to address specific business challenges by creating strategic matches with other actors of the international innovation ecosystem, in particular Start-ups and Scale-ups.

The program involves three types of actors: 12 selected companies from the Emilia-Romagna Region, national and international Start-ups and Scale-ups and other actors from the Italian and International innovation ecosystem.

The business challenges addressed by the fourth edition of the program regard Data-Driven Innovation, and is grouped into three thematic clusters:

The program is made of three main points:

MATCH.POINT is the International matching program dedicated to 12 selected companies based in Emilia-Romagna and the admitted Start-ups/Scale-ups candidates to solve the companies’ challenges. Companies and solvers have 3 months to match, connect and find opportunities to co-create solutions around shared business needs.

BIG.MATCH and FINAL.MATCH are the closing moments of MATCHER, where further matches, as well as networking with the national and international innovation community, take place. The event is open to innovation actors from all over the world who can join the Emilia-Romagna Ecosystem, a region of culture, innovation and globally leading companies.

A unique chance for Start-ups and Scale-ups from all over the world, Corporate partners and other actors of the innovation ecosystem to meet and create a win-win business relationship. The goal is to co-develop concrete pilots and go-to-market strategies.
