Challenge Fresenius Kabi, leader in pharmaceuticals, transfusion technology, and clinical nutrition, faces the challenge of showcasing and monitoring operators’ work phases to train them and reduce their errors. The company lacks a tool to guide operators in performing their functions, to train them on procedures, and to reduce execution errors: the absence of digitalized and standardized work instructions and guidance increases the risk of incorrect execution of the tasks by operators and doesn't allow for statistics on individual tasks performed. To address this needs, Fresenius is looking for a solution (hardware and/or software) to digitally transform manufacturing working instructions, creating a virtual checklist based on existing data. Implementing a monitoring system (and possibly gamification) will enhance training and performance measurement, ensuring correct task execution. This initiative will target manufacturing processes and might leverage (if possible and not limited to) hardware already in house (e.g., smart glasses). Objectives Scouting a software solution for the digitalization of manufacturing working instructions by creating a virtual & interactive check list leveraging on current data with the possibility of monitoring employees’ activities., Looking for solutions with TRL 6 - Technology demonstrated in relevant environment., Fresenius Kabi is interested in collaborating with startups/scaleups to co-develop a PoC or to launch pilot projects together.
