Sano Musab Hijazi

My name is Sano Musab Hijazi, and I am a 41-year-old entrepreneur of Syrian descent who was raised in Milan. As the CEO of It’s Prodigy, a company established in 2017 and now a prominent player in Research and Development, Digitalization, and Industry 4.0, I have always been passionate about technology and innovation. Over the course of 4 years, my company has achieved a turnover of 1.6 million euros, with a growth rate of 200%. In 2021, we began developing Data Prodigy, a platform that has become a game-changer for business intelligence solutions by reducing reporting times in companies by 80% through artificial intelligence. This project reached maturity through collaboration with the world's largest consulting and accounting firm, Deloitte, which allowed us to test its competitiveness in areas such as competitor analysis, market research, case study search, and business analysis.

Previously, I served as a Project Manager for Penta System (2016-2018) and also worked at Azurreo, Dynatrace, and Capgemini (2016). In 2014, I was an IT Project Manager at Sistemaconsulting, and from 2013 to 2014, I served as an IT Release Manager at Ingegneria Informatica Spa. Earlier in my career, I worked as a Software IT Architect at TBS Group Spa, a company providing services in clinical engineering and e-health.

Throughout my career, I have received numerous awards and recognitions, particularly for the SensorNet Big Data system developed for the Emilia Romagna region. This system collects data from 3,000 sensors across the region and displays real-time information. In 2023, I received prestigious awards such as the America Innovation Prize, awarded by the Italy USA Foundation to the best Italian startup of 2003. Furthermore, It’s Prodigy took first place at the Innovit – Demo day, an event where 25 Italian startups and SMEs showcased innovative solutions using technologies such as artificial intelligence, metaverse, and blockchain.
