Redox flow battery components and architecture (anolyte, catholyte, porous membrane, interfaces); Cell design and optimization for the flowing electrolytes; Sustainable chemistries based in organic molecules; Other chemistries including Zn-I2, Vanadium RFB and Metal-Air battery among others; redox active electrolyte optimization including the use of additives to incease solubility, fabrication of composite electrolytes, viscosity-conductivity-electrochemical performance correlations, in-situ impedance characterization of flow batteries; Cell ageing and validation of mechanisms;
