High ultrasonication delamination of active materials from the foils. It will also enable to recovery the current collector materials (Al and Cu). Moreover, study of the recovery of leached Lithium from the liquid phase for its re-use as secondary source of Li.

Chemical binder separation by organic solvents.

Material characterisation with different analysis techniques such as inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) and Scanning Electron Microscopy - Energy Dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX).
